The M45 F7 Mechanical Moon Phase is an iconic model from the Classic Collection M45, named after the star cluster M45 Pleiades and characterized by a universal and serene design expressing the eternal passage of time. The new models consolidate the various dial layouts released since the original model first came out in 2017, and update some of the detailed design elements.
The new models return to a design that closely resembles the original Mechanical Moon Phase. They include classical Roman numerals on the outer edge of the dial, and OS logo that is only visible depending on the angle of light, positioned in the centre of the dial within the ring separating the two sectors. A notable update has been made to one of the most original features of this watch: the expression of the moon phase. The moonās backdrop has been changed to a vibrant, deep-blue-coloured night sky, and the stars appear sharper due to improved brightness.
The regular models, available with white or navy-blue dials, come with an additional cordovan strap, allowing the wearer to enjoy a different facet of the watch.
